"They were intense months with the success of the Coppa Italia as the final satisfaction. It is finally official, Yuto Nagatomo belongs 100% to Inter. In a statement released on Cesena's official web site, details were given on the transfer of the Japanese defender. Nagatomo joins Inter on a permanent basis and in exchange, Cesena receives the co-ownership of Luca Caldirola and Luca Garritano, both from Inter's youth system. Both players will remain at Inter for the 2011/12 season.

The first name on the wish list of Kenny Dalglish was Arsenal's Gael Clichy, but it seems the Frenchman will be pushed to Manchester City, who are prepared to offer Kolarov in exchange. This has caused Dalglish to direct his attention to the second name on the list, Cristian Chivu.

The latest rumor is that Roma are requesting 20 million euros for the attacker, but Inter are planning on using Pandev as a part exchange in the deal. Pandev, who is said to have recently denied a move to Genoa, really likes new Roma Sporting Director, Walter Sabatini and the Macedonian could be the ideal replacement for Vucinic. However, Pallavicino has cooled down the rumors by telling Romanews.eu: "I don't know anything. Inter have not contacted me and this subject about the player exchange has not been discussed."

Romanews.eu also asked whether or not his client would be interested in a move to Roma and just how much he was valued by Inter, but Pallavicino declined to answer: "You must ask Inter for an evaluation of the player. After a long drought, Inter appears to finally have put some starting players back into the Italian National Team. Based on the the last training session in Coverciano, before the players left for Dortmund, Cesare Prandelli used a 4-4-2 Diamond with three Nerazzurri players in the starting lineup. Thiago Motta was used at the base of the Diamond midfield in the training session with Andrea Ranocchia pairing Bonucci in the center of defence and Giampaolo Pazzini pairing Cassano up front.

Four-match Ban for Chivu

Inter defender Cristian Chivu has been suspended for four matches by the Italian Sporting Courts after the Romanian lashed out at Bari defender Marco Rossi during yesterday's match at the San Nicola. Although the match officials did not see the incident, the suspension was given after television cameras caught Chivu throwing a vicious punch at Rossi after an Inter free kick just outside the Bari penalty area. The Nerazzurri defender has already issued a public apology to Rossi, along with his Inter teammates and his family, but Inter manager Leonardo has already stated that they will still discuss this internally and decide if a further punishment is necessary.
